The Spiritual Canine

Thank you for allowing yourself to be guided to the Spiritual Canine web site! Even if you feel you arrived here in error, a seed has been planted in your subconscious. No, we are not spreading any computer viruses or downloading malware to your computer! This is nothing more than an "idea virus" that your Higher Self was looking for.

What we are NOT:

• A religious group. Spirituality of itself has nothing to do with religion. It transcends religion because it makes no judgment based on the man-made rules that all religions are based upon, despite their pure, spiritual core.
• An animal rights group. Animal Rights and Animal Welfare are NOT synonymous! NOTHING could be further from our goals than furthering the misguided vegan agenda of the animal rights movement, or duping the public on its behalf! While there is A LOT wrong with the way many animals are being treated, esp. in agribusiness, we acknowledge and welcome animals as our willing teachers and partners.
• Some woo-woo cult. We are offering experiences and observations for you to consider. There are no rules (except common politeness), no doctrines, no initiations, no communes (just community), no fees, no forced anything. If it doesn't resonate with you, you are free to disagree, you are free to never return. We Love you anyway ;-)

What we ARE:

• A site introducing the idea that dogs, as well as our other pets and animal friends, posses a Higher Being, just like we do, that they are here to expand by learning lesson, but also, perhaps most importantly, by helping us on our path to expansion in the spiritual sense.
• A community, through Yahoo! Groups, that fosters sharing of ideas related to canine spirituality without judgment.
