There comes a time....

Grizzled muzzle, eyes clouded and unfocused, stiff body, a whimper here and there, loss of appetite.... Your friend of many years no longer enjoys play, or even your loving caresses. In a moment of clarity, he speaks clearly through his eyes: it's time....

Or a young dog suddenly falls ill and dies before you could even get him to the vet, or is hit by a car, no matter how careful you were ensuring his safety....

Even under the best of circumstances, our dogs' lives are much shorter than our own, and sooner or later we have to face their departure from this physical world: their trip to the Rainbow Bridge.

Rainbow Bridge, mythical place where our pets "wait for us." But do they?

"Oh, some of us will be there when you transition. But to assume that we have nothing else to do, no other lives, no other people to support, no further Learning and Growth - that would be absurd."

Animals' souls are much like our own. Indeed, many have had human lives and may go back and forth between human and animal forms. Like us, they choose to have lessons to learn, lives to experience. And just like us, they shed their physical form when those lessons have been learned, to travel the realm of the non-physical in preparation for the next physical experience.

Our greatest gift to our beloved animal friend is to allow them to transition in the manner THEY choose, whether naturally or through euthanasia at a time of THEIR choosing. Engaging the services of an animal communicator will always be helpful at that stage, because the animal knows what is best and of greatest benefit to animal and human alike.
